Max Hall has announced his immediate departure from British Touring Car Championship team Un-Limited Motorsport, after his first half season in the championship.
Hall, 18, made his BTCC début this year in one of the team’s three CUPRA Leon cars, and is currently 22nd overall in the drivers’ standings, behind Dexter Patterson.
His best finish thus far has been 13th in the second race of the season at Donington Park, which was also Hall’s only Independents class podium of the season as well.
Hall and Patterson have clashed several times on track this season, including a notorious incident at Brands Hatch in May.
“I’ve made the decision to leave Un-Limited Motorsport and will not be continuing with the team for the rest of the 2025 season,” said Hall in a statement via Instagram.
“This was entirely my choice. I entered the championship with clear goals and a strong vision for where I want to take my career.
“While we worked hard together, things didn’t align in the way I had hoped.
“I’d like to thank everyone at Un-Limited Motorsport for their efforts and support during our time together. I sincerely wish the team continued success.
“My focus now is on what comes next. I’m actively exploring new opportunities and looking for the right partners to join me on what I believe will be a bigger and better journey.
“The ambition hasn’t changed – it’s only grown.”
Hall says further updates will come ‘in due course’.
