A number of changes have been announced to the TCR Balance of Performance (BoP) with immediate effect, with the new Audi and CUPRA cars losing weight whilst Honda and Hyundai gain kilograms.

The new for 2021 Audi RS3 LMS TCR has been given a weight reduction of 30 kg (taking it to 10 kg of BoP weight), whilst the CUPRA Leon Competición has lost 20 kg (taking it to 0 kg of BoP weight).

Elsewhere, the Hyundai Elantra N TCR and the Honda Civic Type-R FK8 TCR, which together have won three out of the first four FIA World Touring Car Cup races, have both gained 10 kg of BoP weight.

The new Audi RS3 LMS has also been given a reduction in its ride height from 80 mm to 70 mm, meaning that the German car is the biggest beneficiary of the latest changes.

All of the above changes also apply to endurance racing, where BoP weight is half that used in sprint racing.
