Roland Asch was excluded from the result for ignoring a stop-and-go penalty which had been issued for a false start.

Abt Sportsline appealed the result after the crash between Christian Abt and Roland Asch on the final lap. Consequently the DMSB tribunal decided to award the points according to the race classification on the penultimate lap.
