Senna Proctor will replace Sam Osborne at NAPA Racing UK for this weekend’s British Touring Car Championship event at Thruxton, due to illness for the latter.
Proctor, 27, has been the team’s reserve drive since the start of the season, having failed to land a full-season seat in this year’s BTCC.
He raced in much of the 2025 season with EXCELR8 Motorsport, taking to the grid from Thruxton onwards and completing the final 21 races of the season.
The two-time winner and 13-time podium finisher will thus make his first competitive appearance in one of the team’s Ford Focus Titanium cars, having been notified of his requirement to drive around 07:00 on Saturday morning.
Osborne currently sits 17th in the drivers’ standings and is expected to return to the grid for the Knockhill event in August.
