Max Hall to race Honda Civic in TCR UK for Hall’s Racing

Max Hall will return to TCR UK in 2026, racing a Honda Civic Type-R FL5 TCR Car for his family-run Hall’s Racing outfit.

Hall, who turns 19 on Thursday, started the 2025 season in the British Touring Car Championship, but left at the halfway stage of the season. He subsequently joined TCR UK in a BSR-run Lynk & Co 03 TCR for the final two events of the year, claiming two podium finishes on his début at Snetterton and narrowly missing out on another podium in the season finale at Brands Hatch.

After strong results to conclude his 2025 campaign, Hall, who is also a JAS Motorsport Development Driver for 2026, is targeting a full TCR UK title tilt in 2026, racing one of two Hondas in the new family-run team.

“I’m delighted to announce that I’ll be racing in TCR UK for the 2026 season, with the aim of securing the drivers’ title,” said Bristolian Hall, who is also targeting some European TCR outings in 2026.

“I’ll be driving for the new Hall’s Motorsport team, which brings over two decades of motorsport experience.

“Whilst they may be new to TCR, they know their stuff, which means that we’ll be able to hit the ground running at the start of the season.

“Working as a JAS Motorsport Development driver is a fantastic opportunity for me, and I’m ready to work hard as we take on each weekend throughout the season.

“The Honda Civic is a new car to me; however, we have a testing programme in place that will help me get up to speed quickly.”

Championship Manager Jack Finlan added: “Max made a big impression last year at Snetterton and Brands Hatch, so it’s great to see him return to the championship for a full season.

“Being part of the JAS Development Driver program, Max will also be able to develop further as a driver and learn more about the Honda Civic, which has seen a lot of success in global TCR competition.

“I’m also very happy to welcome Halls Motorsports to the TCR UK grid. It’s always good to welcome new teams into the championship, and as a second team running Hondas, this takes the number of FL5 TCRs up to four for the 2026 season.

“This shows the faith that teams and entrants have in the championship, providing stability, variety and more competition for the year ahead and putting on a great show for everyone following TCR UK.”
