Swiss racer Rudolf Rhyn will make his début in the 2017 ADAC TCR Germany Series, racing a SEAT León TCR for Swiss outfit TOPCAR Sport.
Rhyn, who competed in the German VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft at the Nürburgring in 2016, will move up to TCR Germany for the coming season.
TOPCAR Sport took part in the inaugural TCR Germany season last year, fielding a SEAT León throughout the year for Ronny Jost before adding three additional cars in the season finale.
“This year I will participate with TOPCAR sport and Ruedi Jost in the ADAC TCR Germany with a Seat León TCR,” announced Rhyn. “The new partnership with RIGDON will enable me to take a new step in my career.
“This race series will be among the best touring championships worldwide with more than 40 registered vehicles in 2017.”
TOPCAR Sport are expected to enter four SEAT cars into this year’s TCR Germany championship.
