Hungarian Dániel Nagy will make his TCR International Series début for Zengő Motorsport at the Red Bull Ring, becoming the fourth Hungarian driver to race for the team this season.
The 17-year-old only started racing in 2011, having been inspired by his parents, who have also been racing drivers in Hungary in the past. In addition, Nagy’s brother Viktor is the goalkeeper of Hungary’s national water polo team, emphasising the family’s strong sporting links.
In 2013 Nagy competed in the Hungarian Suzuki Swift Cup, which he duly went on to win with RCM Motorsport.
Nagy continues to compete in the RCM Cup in 2015, and currently lies second overall in the classification. He also has the unique experience of being team-mate to his girlfriend Anett György in the current season of the Suzuki Swift Cup.
