Brad Harris will return to TCR action at next weekend’s FIA TCR World Tour event at The Bend Motorsport Park in Australia, once again in a Honda Civic Type-R.
Harris made his TCR début in 2023 with Wall Racing in TCR Australia, running a Civic Type-R FK7. He won at Queensland Raceway on his way to 12th overall in the drivers’ standings, having missed two of the season’s seven events.
He continued, with Wall Racing in 2024, upgrading to the latest Civic FL5 and was much more successful, winning twice at Philip Island on his way to third overall in the standings.
Harris will return to tin-top action when the FIA TCR World Tour goes to The Bend next week, running the Civic from his own Harris Motorsports team, which will receive technical support from GOAT Racing and JAS Motorsport.
“I am looking forward to the challenge of running the car as our own operation for the first time, alongside GOAT Racing and JAS Motorsport,” said Harris. “It’s exciting to be racing back in TCR.
“We recently completed a night test at Sydney Motorsport Park and have spent the last few months refurbishing our truck inside and out and setting up our team to run as a professional outfit.
“We pride ourselves on presentation with our family-run team, much like our business, Exclusive Switchboards.”
Brad’s twin brother Will, who also took part in TCR Australia last year, won’t be racing at the event due to an impending childbirth.
