Rob Huff returns for WTCR grand finale

Rob Huff will take part in the finale of the FIA World Touring Car Cup after all, with the Brit returning to Zengő Motorsport for the last-ever WTCR races in Saudi Arabia.

It was only at the beginning of this month that Huff announced he would not take part in the races in Bahrain or Saudi Arabia, after citing ‘ongoing difficulties’ with the Hungarian team at the time.

Huff instead went on to race in Macau last weekend, having completed the mandatory quarantine period which meant he couldn’t take part in the Bahrain WTCR races a week previously.

However, with that event – and another Macau win – under his belt, Huff has travelled to Jeddah where he will take part in the WTCR event after all.

“So happy to say we get to finish the season off together,” Huff posted on social media. “We are in Jeddah with everything we need to fight for the last points of the championship!”

Huff will team up with Dániel Nagy in one of the team’s two CUPRAs once again for the event this weekend.
