Uruguayan and Argentine venues confirmed for 2022 TCR South America

The Uruguayan and Argentine rounds of the 2022 TCR South America have been confirmed, whilst the dates for two of the events have been slightly adjusted.

The first three events in Brazil had already been confirmed, including the next round of the championship at Interlagos on 1 May.

The series will then move on to Goiânia to conclude the Brazilian leg of the championship on 4 – 5 June.

As in 2021, two Uruguayan rounds will be held at Rivera and El Pinar, taking place on the weekends of 16 – 17 July and 6 – 7 August respectively, the latter being a new date in the calendar.

Concluding in Argentina with three events, the first will take place at Termas de Río Hondo on 27 – 28 August for an endurance event.

Buenos Aires will host two sprint races in 2022, as opposed to the endurance event last year, on 17 – 18 September, before the season concludes at the new relatively Villicum circuit on 8 – 9 October.

The season had been set to host its finale on 5 – 6 November, but the introduction of a second date in August has moved all the events forward.
