As the 2022 British Touring Car Championship held its annual season launch event at Thruxton, TouringCars.Net can bring you a selection of images from the action in the morning session.
The morning session was punctuated by three red flag stoppages, one of which was caused when Stephen Jelley and Gordon Shedden came together at the first corner, resulting in significant damage to both the BMW and the Honda.
WSR BMW driver Jake Hill topped the times with a lap of 1 minute 15.744 seconds, just over two tenths of a second ahead of Tom Ingram’s Hyundai.
