The calendars for the 2022 TCR Asia and TCR China championships have been published, with the two series once again sharing the majority of events in China before splitting for their season finales.
TCR Asia and TCR China have been run in tandem since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the TCR Asia promoter working in cooperation with the TCR China promoter.
The season will once again kick off at the Shanghai International Circuit in May, before moving to the Ningbo International Speedpark in June for the first time since 2019.
The third event of the year in July will either be staged at Ordos in Inner Mongolia, which has never previously held a TCR race, or Zhejiang, which last featured in 2019.
Both series then move back to Shanghai in September, then two weeks’ later go to Zhuzhou, before splitting for their finales in November.
The TCR China finale will be held at the Shanghai Tianma circuit in November, whilst TCR Asia will once again conclude on the Circuito da Guia in Macau.
