Featuring a front-wheel drive configuration and a wheelbase of 2750 mm, the car delivers a maximum power output of 350 bhp, torque of 450 Nm, with a six-speed sequential gearbox.

The engine is a ‘brand new’ two-litre turbocharged powerplant, taken from Hyundai’s family of road-going models. The gearbox is the same as those installed in the rest of Alzenau, Germany-based Hyundai Motorsport’s TCR models.

The car will be predominantly raced in North and South America in 2021. Bryan Herta Autosport will campaign the car in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, whilst the car is also set to feature in the inaugural season of TCR South America with a team run by tin-top star Augusto Farfus and Sérgio Jimenez.
