Dates and countries revealed for inaugural TCR South America

The inaugural TCR South America season will consist of eight race meetings hosted by four different countries in 2021, with the race dates approved by CODASUR on Wednesday.

Whilst the details of the hosting circuits has yet to be revealed, the calendar for the new series has been published.

The season will kick off with the first three events in Brazil, with the season starting on the 8 – 9 May. It will remain in Brazil until the end of July.

The fourth event takes place in Uruguay at the end of July and start of August, with the event likely to be held at the Autódromo Víctor Borrat Fabini, also known as El Pinar.

The series the moves to Argentina for the first of three events at the end of August through to mid-October, before concluding in Chile in mid-November.

The calendar was approved by CODASUR (Confederacion Deportiva Automovilismo Sudamericana) during the annual assembly on Wednesday 23 December.
