Brutal Fish Racing Team’s Dan Lloyd has inherited a maiden TCR Europe win after Andreas Bäckman and Nelson Panciatici have both been handed post-race penalties after the opening contest at Oschersleben.
Bäckman secured pole for the opening race at Oschersleben and conceded the lead to Lloyd on the first corner, before forcing an error from the reigning TCR UK champion and re-taking the lead with two laps to go.
M Racing’s Nelson Panciatici finished second on the road, but would also receive a post-race penalty after his contact with Jessica Bäckman on the opening lap.

Andreas Bäckman’s penalty decision will not be appealed.
