TCR Russia regular Klim Gavrilov will join the grid for the TCR Europe series season finale in Barcelona next weekend, racing a Volkswagen Golf GTi run by the LTA Rally Team.
Gavrilov is the latest addition to the grid for the final event of the seven-round series, running in he team managed by Dmitriy Voronov.
The 18-year-old has already proven himself as one to watch in Russia this year, winning three races on his way to fifth overall in the drivers’ standings.
The youngster only has just under two years’ experience in racing TCR machinery, having made his touring car début at the start of the 2107 season, racing a SEAT León for the Lukoil Racing Team and taking a maiden win in his first year at the Smolensk Ring.
He started the 2018 season racing an Audi RS3 LMS, taking a win at Frot Grozny, before switching to the Golf GTi, claiming two more victories at the Moscow Raceway and Sochi Autodrom.
