Neither Andrew Jordan nor Jason Plato will contest the final British Touring Car Championship race at Thruxton.
Jordan, who has battled through the weekend thus far with food poisoning, will not get back behind the wheel of his BMW 125i M Sport on medical grounds.
Plato, meanwhile, suffered an engine problem on board his Team BMR-run Subaru Levorg GT in the middle race, with a decision taken not to start the final contest.

30 cars are still expected to take the start, scheduled for 17:15, including Tom Boardman’s MG6 GT despite sustaining heavy left-rear damage and losing a wheel during a collision with Michael Caine at the final chicane.
