The opening two rounds of the inaugural TCR UK Series will be contested by 13 cars in total, series organisers have confirmed.
Six brands in total are represented across the field, with entries from Hyundai, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, Honda, CUPRA and Alfa Romeo.
As is standard for the majority of TCR championships worldwide, races will be available to live stream via the internet and social media.
The championship will also host its re-arranged Media Launch and test sessions on the Friday prior to the race weekend [30th March].
“After the success of the TCR cars in the Pirelli World Challenge last weekend, now it’s the UK’s turn!” commented Jonathan Ashman, Championship Promoter.
“The TCR success story keeps on growing and I’m delighted that we’re playing our part.
“The amount of interest we’ve received has been really encouraging and I’m confident we’ll see two exciting races at Silverstone this weekend.”
