The inaugural TCR UK Series kicked off at Silverstone today [30th March] with the championships re-arranged Media Day.
A total of 13 cars are due to contest the series’ season opener, with a double header scheduled on the 1.6 mile National circuit on the Sunday afternoon.
Six different marques are represented in the new-for-2018 BRSCC championship, including the Alfa Romeo Guilietta, Honda Civic Type R FK8 and Hyundai i30 N.

Championship photographer Matt Sayle was on hand to capture all the action as the fledgling touring car series kicked into life at the Home of British Motorsport.
