Newcomer René Rast will be in the RS5 backed by the magazine AUTO BILD MOTORSPORT, whilst Loïc Duval will be in the car painted in an ARAL Ultimate livery, which was previously sported by the departed Edoardo Mortara.

Nico Müller will get a red and black Audi for 2017, having previously run with a white and black car.

Audi have also rearranged the driver’s race engineers, with Ekström now partnered with Arnau Niubó, Mike Rockenfeller with Timo Scheider’s former engineer Laurent Fedacou, Loïc Duval with former WEC engineer Mathieu Le Nail and René Rast with experienced DTM performance engineer Florian Rinkes.

The final pre-season DTM tests take place at the Hockenheimring from the 3rd to 6th April 2017, where Audi Sport will also use a test vehicle to gain more data.
