Sandro Kaibach is the latest driver to join the 32-strong grid for this year’s ADAC TCR Germany Series, and becomes the tenth driver that will race in the band new Audi RS3 LMS this season.
He joins Steibel Motorsport, with team mate Sebastian Steibel opting for the Volkswagen Golf GTi TCR.
The 19-year-old raced in the Renault Clio Cup Central Europe for the outfit last year, taking the driver’s title in the under-21 standings, and will be in the junior category for TCR Germany this season.
“I can’t wait until the season starts, and I am looking forward to this new challenge,” said Kaibach, who announced the news on his official Facebook page, stating that he’s already been testing at Hockenheim.
The Austrian-born driver will be another young talent to watch out for this season, with a lot of the field being considered for the Junior category of the championship, but could also see them all compete for the overall drivers’ title in 2017
