Jack Goff is looking forward to acclimatizing to his Eurotech Racing Honda Civic Type R in Spain next week after clocking up some initial mileage in the machine at Oulton Park and Snetterton this week.
Goff, who recently made the switch to Jeff Smith’s independent outfit from West Surrey Racing, enjoyed a strong British Touring Car Championship campaign in 2016, with the equal-highest number of fastest laps and two podium finishes in the BMW 125i M Sport.
The BRDC Superstar completed over 750 kilometres of running at both Oulton Park and Snetterton ahead of the team’s trip to Spain next week.
“I felt instantly at home switching back to the front-wheel drive layout of the Type R.” commented Goff.
“After the two days we completed last week, I am looking forward to really starting to fine tune myself and the car in Spain next week.
“The Eurotech squad have been working flat out over recent months to make sure we start the season in the strongest possible way and they have produced a brilliant car. Its clear to see why the Civic Type R has been so successful over recent campaigns.”
