Win the chance to meet your BTCC favourites at Autosport International

With the 2016 racing season set to get underway, Autosport International continues its run as the premier pre-season motorsport show, and TouringCars.Net is giving you the chance to be there!

Our competition will give five lucky people a pair of tickets to the show itself, which will be held at the NEC in Birmingham on 16-17 January 2016.*

After another exciting BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) season over ten race weekends, the 2015 title fight went down to the wire at the final weekend back in October. Honda Yuasa Racing’s Gordon Shedden clinched his second title in the last race of the year from Team BMR’s Jason Plato, after an epic title battle all season.

The list of confirmed attendees from one of the most-popular touring car series around include three-time champion Matt Neal, Motorbase’s 2013 champion Andrew Jordan, 2014 champion Colin Turkington, Ciceley Motorsport’s Adam Morgan and Laser Tools Racing’s Aidan Moffat.

With an ever-changing line-up set to take part in the 2016 season, which starts again in the first weekend of April at Brands Hatch (Indy), the lucky winners will not only be able to meet their favourite drivers, but also take in the sights and sounds of the show itself.

Along with the customary sights and sounds that fans have come to expect at the NEC, new drivers are set to be announced for the forthcoming season at the show itself. For those lovers of exotic supercars, they will also be able to experience the the Performance Car Show, which is presented by Landsail Tyres, in association with Autocar and PistonHeads.com (www.performancecarshow.com).

Along with this, there is a grand display that Williams Martini Racing will be part of the main Autosport stage, which will celebrate 20 years since 1996 Formula One champion Damon Hill won his title with the Grove-based outfit, with Hill also being in attendance.

Other confirmed racing celebrities include current Williams driver Felipe Massa, Susie Wolff, Le Mans winner Allan McNish, Andy Priaulx, Guy Martin and many more.

This will also include a host of classic machinery, as well as the Advanced Engineering display for those that love the technology, which goes into both racing and road car developments.

And if you want to fill your adrenaline addiction ahead of the racing getting underway, the Live Action Arena will provide it in abundance. With double World RX champion Petter Solberg leading the famous guest list, live racing, stunts, drifting and interviews will also be part of the experience that any petrolhead will want to enjoy up close.
