Mücke Motorsport’s Daniel Juncadella will be another current Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) driver, that will be heading to the streets of Asia, to compete in the Macau Grand Prix in November this year.

The 24-year-old, who won the event back in 2011 with Prema Powerteam, will join Audi Sport’s Edoardo Mortara in the Portuguese colony, as the pair will race in different categories.

Juncadella will drive a Mercedes-powered Dallara F312 for British race outfit Fortec Motorsport, having been invited by the team to compete on the 6.120-km circuit.

He is also the only Spaniard to have won the prestigious race, classing it as the “proudest moment in my racing career,” which has also been won by fellow DTM alumni Mortara and BMW’s António Félix da Costa.

In 2012, Juncadella also captured a hat trick of titles in the single seater category, which also also included the inaugural FIA F3 European Championship.

Recent additions that have graduated from Formula Three include Lucas Auer and 2015’s top rookie, Tom Blomqvist.
