The opening round of the 2014 World Touring Car Championship in Marrakech, Morocco, has been delayed by one week to the 13 April at the request of the local authorities.
The season opener in Africa had been scheduled to begin on the 5th April, but will now take place one week later than originally planned.
The move means that there will now be just one week between the first and second races of the season, with teams facing the challenge of moving all of their equipment to Le Castellet in southern France in less than a week.
There are no further changed to the rest of the 2014 WTCC calendar.
