BMWs in Asian rounds for Henry Ho and Mak Ka Lok

Macanese racers Henry Ho Wai Kun and Mak Ka Lok are to contest the final three World Touring Car Championship events at the wheel of normally aspirated BMW 320si’s.

Both drivers have contested the WTCC before, with Ho having made his début in Macau in 2009 for Liqui Moly Team Engstler. The Macau driver returns to the German team for his appearances in 2013, which will see him contest the races in Japan and Shanghai as well.

Mak Ka Lok made his début in the series in 2011 for the RPM Racing Team but failed to finish both races. Mak returned in 2012, scoring a best finish of 16th. Mak has previously not competed in the WTCC races outside Macau and will do so for the first time in 2013 as he battles for the Eurosport Asia Trophy alongside additional new entries Jerónimo António Badaraco, Felipe Clemente de Souza, Ng Kin Veng, Yukinori Taniguchi and Ho.
