Max Hart joins ALM Motorsport for 2026 TCR Europe season

Max Hart will move to ALM Motorsport for the 2026 TCR Europe season, where he will become a JAS Motorsport-supported driver in one of the team’s Honda Civic Type-R FL5 TCR cars.

Hart, 24, made his TCR début back in 2020 when he competed in TCR UK, spending three seasons in the UK where he scored multiple race wins.

He moved to TCR China in 2023, where he was also a race winner, before contesting TCR Asia in 2024 and fighting for the overall title with team-mate Zhang Zhen Dong.

Last year, the Irishman made his début in TCR Europe, proving his pace in Hyundai machinery as he won at the Hockenheimring and added a further two podiums to his name, finishing the season eighth overall in the drivers’ standings.

“I’m extremely proud both to become a JAS Motorsport Supported Driver and to announce this exciting programme with ALM Motorsport,” said Hart.

“Working so closely with JAS Motorsport is going to be super-beneficial for me and I plan to learn everything I can to help my progression as a driver and to help them with their testing and their customer programmes.

“Racing with ALM Motorsport – who are a fantastic and ultra-professional team – puts me in the best position possible to fight for the TCR Europe title and I couldn’t be looking forward to the season any more…”

JAS Motorsport’s TCR project leader Mads Fischer added:

“We’re very pleased to welcome Max to the JAS Motorsport family and to see him positioned with a fantastic championship-winning team like ALM Motorsport as he bids to win in TCR Europe in 2026,” said Fischer.

“Max is a driver who has raced in TCR championships all over the world and won races in all of them – including on one of the most demanding circuits of all on the streets of Macau.

“We’ve seen previous JAS Motorsport Supported Drivers, like Ignacio Montenegro and Josh Files, win major TCR championships, so we know that the formula works and that a talented driver like Max can take full advantage of the opportunity he now has.”
