Turkish racer Vedat Ali Dalokay is to make his TCR Europe début at Misano later this month, when he joins ALM Motorsport in a Honda Civic.
Dalokay will become the first Turkish driver to compete in the European series when he returns to TCR competition.
The 36-year-old made his TCR début in 2022 in the Coppa Italia Turismo, and then competed in TCR Italy DSG in 2023, winning the title with six victories in ten races in a first-generation Audi RS3. He has since competed in GT racing in Italy.
Dalokay, who will also race for the team at the following rounds at the Red Bull Ring and Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, is looking forward to returning to TCR competition after a year out.
“I’m excited to announce my participation in the upcoming rounds of the TCR Europe series—one of the most competitive touring car championships in recent years,” said Dalokay.
“My goal for the remainder of the 2025 season is to gain valuable experience and build a solid foundation for a full season campaign in 2026 with ALM Motorsport.
