2024 TCR South America champion Pedro Cardoso will join G Racing Motorsport for the 2026 season, racing a CUPRA Leon VZ TCR alongside Enzo Gianfratti and Bruno Massa.
It means 26-year-old Cardoso will switch from racing an older Peugeot 308 TCR, which he has pedalled for the past two seasons, to the latest Leon from CUPRA.
The Brazilian has won six races during his three full seasons in the championship, with his success culminating in winning the 2024 title.
Last year, Cardoso finished third overall after claiming three wins and eight podiums – more than in his title-winning year – in a campaign in which multiple issues, including disqualification for an underweight car at the penultimate event in Cuiába – hindered his chances.
Massa, who made his series début with the team in the final event of 2025, was confirmed as a driver several months ago. The Brazilian had previously only competed nationally, and only started racing cars in 2023.
