Geely Group Motorsport reveals ‘new generation’ Lynk & Co 03 TCR

Geely Group Motorsport has revealed a ‘new generation’ Lynk & Co 03 TCR car, based on the facelifted road car which was unveiled in late 2022.

The Chinese manufacturer first presented the Lynk & Co 03 TCR for the 2019 season, and it went on to win the 2020 and 2021 FIA World Touring Car Cup drivers’ titles, as well as the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Teams’ championships with Cyan Racing.

“We are thrilled to present a new generation of the successful Lynk & Co 03 TCR model,” said Head of Gelly Group Motorsport Alexander Murdzevski-Schedvin.

“This is a careful evolvement of the original model, following the striking new exterior of the Lynk & Co 03 road car equivalent.

“We are delighted to be able to offer it to our customers during the 2023 season and beyond.”

The previous generation of car has also won titles in TCR Asia, TCR China and TCR South America, and has also won races in TCR Scandinavia.

The new car features a new front and rear design, with adaptations included for the planned 2024 introduction of hybrid technology in TCR.

The car follows the latest FIA safety standards, including a new crash structure, roll cage and extrication hatch in the roof.

Featuring a two-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine capable of generating 340 horsepower and 420Nm of torque, the car will be priced at €148,000 as per the TCR cost cap.

Cyan Racing will receive the first four cars for the upcoming TCR World Tour season.
