Dan Cammish readying for one of the busiest weekends of his career

NAPA Racing UK’s Dan Cammish will have one of the busiest weekend’s of his racing career so far this weekend, as he moves from the Goodwood Festival of Speed to the British Touring Car Championship at Croft.

Cammish is taking part in the first two days of the Goodwood Festival of Speed on Thursday and Friday, before he heads up to North Yorkshire by helicopter in time for the weekend’s BTCC action.

Croft is an important circuit for Leeds racer Cammish, being his home circuit. Previously, the 33-year-old has had good from at Croft, finishing on the podium once each in 2019 and 2020.

He heads into this weekend’s event tenth overall in the drivers’ standings, off the back of a trio of top six finishes last time out at Oulton Park.

Still seeking a first victory in 2022, Cammish is at the very least targeting further podiums to add to the two he has already scored this year.

“This week is definitely one of the busiest of my career so far, starting off with the trip to Goodwood to drive the NAPA Racing UK car up the hill,” said Cammish.

“I’m really excited to be part of the Festival of Speed and representing NAPA, Motorbase and, of course, Kwik Fit and the BTCC.

“I’ll be heading up to Croft from there by helicopter, so that’s going to be fun as I’ve never been in one, and I can’t wait to be back at my home track.

“We did the best we could with what we had at Oulton, and moved up the championship, but I’m hungry to be back on the podium and determined to achieve that at Croft.”
