The 2022 ADAC TCR Germany calendar has been published, featuring seven race weekends at circuits in Germany and Austria, including a first visit to the Salzburgring.
Just one day after the 2021 season concluded at the Nürburgring, the calendar for next year has already been revealed.
As usual, the season will kick off at Oschersleben on 22 – 24 April, followed by the first visit to Austria at the Red Bull Ring a month later on 20 – 22 May.
The series will then visit the Salzburgring for the first-ever time on 17 – 19 June, marking a return for touring cars to the circuit since the TCR International series visited in 2017.
The Nürburgring round will be on 5 – 7 August, followed two weeks later by the Sachsenring on 19 – 21 August.
The final two events are spaced a month apart, with the Lausitzring staging the penultimate event on 23 – 25 September followed by the season finale at the Hockenheimring on 21 – 23 October.
The series will also return to Hankook rubber in 2021, after three years running on Yokohama tyres. TCR Germany had previously run with Hankook tyres for its first three seasons from 2016 to 2018.

“When the series was founded in 2016, Hankook was a partner from the very beginning, and we look forward to working with them again in the years to come.
“Various TCR series in Europe rely on their tyres, which proves Hankook’s high level of competence in this category, and our competitors will benefit from it.”
