German siblings Mike and Michelle Halder have confirmed that they will return to the ADAC TCR Germany series in 2020, once again racing a pair of Honda Civic Type-R TCR cars with support from Profi-Car.
Mike has competed in TCR Germany since its inception in 2016, becoming one of the regular front-runners in the series as he established himself as a title contender in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
2020 will mark Mike’s third season in Honda machinery, whilst Michelle enters her third season in TCR Germany and her second at the wheel of a Honda.
Michelle has proven she has the pace to run at the front in the series, and she memorably claimed a first win at Zandvoort last season, whilst she ended the year seventh overall in the drivers’ standings.
Mike, meanwhile, was in title contention until the very end of the year, ending up fourth after a four-way scrap for the title at the Sachsenring.
“We are very happy to announce that we have Profi-car as main sponsor again in the 2020 season,” said the Halders. “We’ll be back together in TCR Germany and we are already looking forward to many exciting race weekends.”
