Russian racer Klim Gavrilov will return to the grid of the TCR Europe series at Spa-Francorchamps this weekend, racing an Audi RS3 LMS for the VRC Racing Team which he is also campaigning in TCR Russia.
It will be the 19-year-old’s second appearance in the regional TCR series, after he also took part in the season finale of the 2018 season in Barcelona.
Gavrilov has focussed on racing domestically since joining TCR Russia in 2017 full-time, where he has tasted success by winning once in 2017, three times in 2018 and already once in 2019.
He also made a one-off appearance in the season opener for TCR Italy at Monza, where he took victory in his first race in the series on the fast circuit which suits the Audi RS3.
Gavrilov is currently fifth overall in the 2019 TCR Russia standings. He also finished fifth overall in 2018.
