In pictures: TCR Europe begins at Le Castellet

The TCR Europe Series sprung into life at Circuit Paul Ricard yesterday [5th May], with Target Competition’s Dušan Borković kicking off the new campaign in perfect style with a comfortable victory in the Hyundai i30 N TCR.

Dániel Nagy backed up his strong FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) outing in Budapest with the runner-up spot, making it a Hyundai 1-2, whilst Mikel Azcona rounded out the podium in his CUPRA.

Josh Files piloted his Honda Civic Type R FK7 in a superb defensive display to take fourth, with Reece Barr similarly claiming fifth on his debut in TCR machinery, which was also his first race on the continent.
