Rory Butcher on pole for final BTCC race at Donington Park

Rory Butcher has been drawn onto pole for the final British Touring Car Championship race at Donington Park.

Courtesy of his ninth place finish behind the wheel of the MG6 GT in race two, the Scotsman entered the hat with the rest of the top twelve and was drawn out live on ITV4.

Reigning champion Ash Sutton will therefore complete the front row in his Subaru Levorg GT, just ahead of race one winner Josh Cook and the Motorbase Ford of James Cole.

Tom Oliphant rounds out the top twelve concerned in the Ciceley-run Mercedes A-Class.

The race gets underway at 17:25.
