Jake Hill has been demoted to the back of the grid after qualifying sixth for tomorrows British Touring Car Championship triple-header at Donington Park.
Championship organisers TOCA found in post-qualifying checks that the angle on the rear wing of Hill’s Volkswagen CC fell outside the permitted alignment within the regulations.
The result, with Mike Epps qualifying in ninth, would have been Team.HARD’s best in several seasons.
Ashley Sutton was also excluded from the results of qualifying by series officials after it was found the turbo on his Subaru Levorg GT exceeded the permitted level.
As a result both drivers will now make up the back row of the grid. Rob Austin inherits pole position as a result, with Jack Goff lining up alongside him on the front row.
