The Hong Kong-based Teamwork Motorsport squad will enter the TCR International Series for the event at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia next weekend, fielding two cars for Kevin Tse and Bill O’Brien.
The team have been competing in the 2016 TCR Asia Series this year, where they have been campaigning a pair of Volkswagen Golf GTi cars.
Whilst Kevin Tse Wing Kin is currently second overall in the championship standings, despite having yet to win a race, American businessman O’Brien is 14th overall.
Macau-born Tse has plenty of experience racing in Asia, having previously competed in the Macau Roadsport Series and the Asian Le Mans Series’ CN class.
O’Brien has extensive experience in racing in China, where he claimed a class win in the Zhuhai 500 km race as part of the Zhuhai Pan-Delta Racing Festival earlier in the year.
