The new Opel Astra TCR car will be unveiled in Mettet, Belgium later in October at a promoters meeting bringing together teams, drivers and manufacturers to further develop the concept in Europe.
Opel committed to building the new Astra to TCR specifications in July, with the car being officially unveiled at the Circuit Jules Tacheny near to the capital Brussels.
The car is being developed by Opel Motorsport in partnership with long-time technical partner Kissling Motorsport.

Based on the forthcoming Opel Astra K, the car will represent the fifth car manufacturer to build a dedicated TCR car.
The new car will be revealed on October 15th.
