Plato Racing has taken the covers off its challenger for the 2025 British Touring Car Championship season, with the Mercedes-AMG A35 Saloon sporting a one-off livery.
Jason Plato’s eponymous team will compete with two of the new saloons, built by renowned race car constructors RML, in this year’s BTCC for Adam Morgan and Daniel Rowbottom.
Plato previously explained why the team had chosen the Mercedes A35: “I would say we looked at in excess of five different types of car, but the Mercedes AMG A35 -V177 Saloon was the one that stood out. Not only does it sound like a rocket, we intend it to be so!”
