Autosport show set to host ‘major’ BTCC announcements

Andrew Jordan and WSRThis week’s Autosport International show at the NEC in Birmingham looks set to play host to a number of major British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) announcements, with Andrew Jordan and West Surrey Racing revealing their 2015 plans.

This week’s Autosport Show will feature a dedicated BTCC feature in Hall 6 where 2013 champion Jordan’s plans will be officially launched ahead of the new season. Meanwhile, reigning champions WSR will make a major sponsorship and driver announcement on the Autosport Stage on Thursday morning. Both cars will be displayed in their 2015 liveries throughout the course of the show.

“I’m really excited about the new challenge that’s ahead of me in 2015,” said Jordan. “It’s something I’m looking forward to telling everyone about at Autosport International, as we start the new season.”

Also on display at the Autosport Show will be Rob Austin’s Audi and the new factory-backed Infiniti Q50 from the Support Our Paras Racing team, with both outfits revealing their liveries for the forthcoming season.

Aiden Moffat’s new Mercedes-Benz A-Class will also be revealed in its 2015 livery on the stand of motorsport artist PopBangColour.

“The 2014 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship was one of the most competitive seasons ever, and 2015 is shaping up as another massive year,” said Ian France, Autosport International Show Director.

“We’re delighted to be getting it started this week at Autosport International with a special Dunlop MSA BTCC feature.”
